How it works

Three ways to practise

Full rehearsal. Three practice questions, then 25 questions with six seconds each and a three-second pause between them. No ticks or crosses until the end.
Fact map. All 121 questions from the 2 to 12 tables in one grid, coloured fluent, slow, missed or not yet asked.
Tricky facts. Ten questions chosen from the ones that need work, with the answer shown straight after each one.

Help

Is this the official check?: No. Six Seconds is an independent practice app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Education or the Standards and Testing Agency. Questions are built using the published assessment framework.
Can more than one child use it?: Yes. Add each child from the name at the top of the home screen. Each child has their own fact map and results.
My child uses a coloured screen at school.: Open Settings and choose a paper colour: white, black on peach or blue on cream.
Can we use a keyboard?: Yes. On iPad, number keys, Return and Delete all work.

Six Seconds does not collect, store or share any personal data.
Children's names and results are saved only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.
There are no accounts, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking.
The app does not connect to the internet, except to open this page when you tap Help or Privacy.
