How It Works
- Add everyone. Type in the names. Mark couples or housemates under “Keep apart” so they never draw each other.
- Draw names. The app makes the matches. Nobody sees them — not even the organizer.
- Pass & peek. Each person taps their own name, holds to open the gift, and sees who they got. Then the screen hides everything before the next person.
- Forgot who you got? Set a 4-digit PIN when you peek, and check again anytime. You can also leave a wish hint for your own Secret Santa.
- White Elephant. Shuffle the turn order, name each gift as it's opened, and let the app track steals, frozen gifts and the final swap.

FAQ
Does everyone need the app?
No. Only one phone or iPad is needed. Everyone takes turns with the same device.
Can two people get each other, or can someone get themselves?
Nobody ever draws themselves. With “No gift swaps” on, two people never get each other. If your “Keep apart” pairs make that impossible, the app tells you.
Will I get the same person as last year?
When you're done, tap “Done for this year”. The matches are saved on your device, and with “No repeats” on, next year's draw avoids the last two years whenever possible.
I forgot who I got. What now?
Open the group and tap your name. If you set a PIN, enter it to see your person again. If you skipped the PIN, you can check without one.
Can the organizer see everyone's matches?
Only on purpose. “Reveal everyone” is behind a press-and-hold button and is meant for after the gift exchange.
Can I send names to people by text or email?
Not in this version. Sneaky Santa is made for drawing names when everyone is together, like at Thanksgiving or a family dinner.
How many people can join?
Secret Santa needs at least 3 people. White Elephant needs at least 2. There is no upper limit.
There's no sound.
Sneaky Santa follows your phone's silent switch. Turn off silent mode and check that Sound is on in Settings.

Sneaky Santa (“the App”) is provided by an independent developer (“we”). This policy explains how the App handles information.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It does not connect to the internet, and it never asks for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location or photos.
Names, matches, hints and PINs
The names you type, the Secret Santa matches, wish hints and PINs are stored only on your device so you can come back to your group later. They are never sent to us or anyone else. PINs are only meant to keep matches private from others using the same device; please don't reuse a PIN you use elsewhere.
Sharing
If you choose to share the full match list after your exchange, it is shared through the standard iOS share sheet to the app you pick. We never receive it.
Purchase
The App is purchased through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we do not receive your name, email address or payment information. Please see

Children’s Privacy
The App may be used by families with children. Because we do not collect, store or share any personal information from anyone, including children under 13, no personal information is collected under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Deleting Your Data
You can delete a group at any time: open the group, tap the pencil icon, then “Delete group”. Deleting the App removes all data stored on the device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the App changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
